Making use of a Spare Bedroom

There are many properties out there today which have spare rooms, and that’s quite normal, especially in family houses as the children grow up and move on to live in their own properties.

When this time comes, it’s important to be aware of the many opportunities that are out there, and a spare doesn’t just simple have to be a boring bedroom for guests, it can be a hobby room, an office, a gym area or an art room. You can make the spare room the home of your hobbies and the fact is nothing is off limits.

If you regularly have grandchildren round then it could be a room filled with computer games, perhaps a ping pong table and other playing equipment. If you want a room where you can really get your head down and work then a study would be beneficial and there are no limits to what you can do with a spare room. The ‘normal’ thing to do is to essentially crate a third bedroom, but if it’s barely ever used then make it more practical because it’s time to think about your needs, not anybody else’s.
